St. William's School plant up their 1/2/barrel. The 1/2barrel planters were bought to encourage community ownership to link the' Trimdons'. They were bought with money donated by Mr. Peter Brookes and Mrs.Lucy Hovvels from their Coucillor's Members Fund, and the plants were purchased with money donated by the former Sedgefield Borough Council. Fourteen barrels have been placed within the communities, and individuals and groups have adopted them with the help of Trimdon Community Gardens.
